Navigating through womanhood and femininity isn't clean-cut; our self-expression, sexuality and choices are under constant scrutiny. The film Nasty Women encapsulates this through the different worlds of the characters; and all the fun, hard work and controversy that comes with it. Follow the characters through their worlds, experiencing their stories - in and out of the dance studio.

The overall goal? To create a film with warmth, humour, authenticity, plenty of sass, a killer soundtrack and a touch of drama - all about kick-ass pole-dancers!

Unfortunately COVID and two years of lockdowns in Melbourne (quite frankly) f*cked up the making of this film - because we could barely meet in person over those two years :’(

But instead of falling in a heap and giving up, the lessons learnt from Nasty Women have been poured into the development of the next flick - Suga Mama!
